Blues-Rock from ‘Southern Black Forest’ (Germany)
The debut album “Holy Ground” from 2022 received excellent reviews from the international and national trade press. This was the starting signal for Blue Deal’s success story to date.
This was followed by winning the “German Blues Challenge” in 2023.
In January 2024, the band reached the semi-finals of the “International Blues Challenge” in Memphis (USA).
In May 2024, the second studio album “Can’t Kill Me Twice” was released on the renowned blues label “Dixiefrog” and also received excellent reviews.
Winning the “German Blues Award” – Best Album 2024 is the highlight so far.

Tom Vela is currently one of the best guitarists of the ‘New Blues Generation’ in Germany. The synergy with Jürgen Schneckenburger, Martin Bürger and old master Joe Fischer (former Cadillac Blues Band) makes Blue Deal an innovative cross-generational project.

Blue Deal’s full range can only be felt and experienced after attending a concert – this is the unanimous opinion. The songs tell stories from life and also take a critical stance on current issues.
